SmartX Information Session at the Workshop on the Potential for Smart Textiles for the Austrian Industry

This German-language workshop, jointly organized by the Austrian Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Industry Association, the Austrian Ministry of Climate, Environment, Energy, Mobility Innovation and Technology and the Austrian Institute of Technology, presented the final result of a Study on the Potential of Smart Textiles in Austria.

SmartX Coordinator Textile ETP presented project activities and, specifically, explained the first call for submissions. 

The well-attended event was an opportunity to:

• Discover the international state of the art and innovation in Smart Textiles and electronic systems;
• Understand the potential for Smart Textiles for the Austrian industry;
• Attend a panel discussion with business and research participants;
• Get to know all about applying for SmartX support and funding.
