SmartX Regional Event: Italy (Biella)
On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Città Studi Biella will host the final event of the SmartX project, a project dedicated to Smart Textiles and of which Città Studi – Po.in.tex is the only Italian partner.
During the meeting, the winning companies from all over Italy will illustrate their projects and display their prototypes. Several Po.in.tex member companies will also present their projects on smart textiles.
We will be talking about textile-based monitoring systems for hospital and domestic use and for child safety in cars, fabrics with integrated biosensors for real-time monitoring of mineral salt losses, electrochromic textiles, sensorised yarns for automotive applications, and much more.
Among the speakers, we will host the ICT cluster, Sistema Moda Italia, and Lutz Walter (ETP, European Textile Platform), who will present the latest European news on open calls of interest to the textile sector.
